Add GST to a base amount

GST amount = base amount × selected rate ÷ 100. The total is the base amount plus the calculated tax.

Remove GST from a tax-inclusive amount

Base amount = inclusive total × 100 ÷ (100 + selected rate). The tax amount is the difference between the inclusive total and base amount.

CGST and SGST display

For a simple intra-state illustration, the calculator divides the selected GST rate equally between CGST and SGST. Inter-state supplies and special cases may be treated differently.
